Technology & digital engineering
Software that holds up when it matters.
We are the partner companies bring in when the next release is not optional — payment cores, clinical systems, storefronts before peak. Squads that ship in small batches and hand the work back properly.

Why we exist
Most projects are lost before the first commit
We spent a decade being called in to rescue programmes, and the pattern was consistent: the technology was rarely the problem. The expensive decisions had been made months earlier, by people with incomplete information and no incentive to say so.
So the firm is built around being there earlier and being willing to say the difficult thing. Discovery is fixed-price specifically so we can afford to conclude that you should not build the thing at all.

Services
What we do
Six practices, one bench. Most engagements draw on two or three.
AI practice
AI, without the pilot graveyard
Evaluation-first delivery and an explicit willingness to tell you a use case will not pay back.
How we are different
Four commitments you can hold us to
Every consultancy claims quality and partnership. These are the four we have made specific enough to fail at visibly.
01
The pitch team is the delivery team
Named individuals in the statement of work, with a notice period for substitution. No juniors quietly swapped in after signature.
02
Handover is a phase, not an email
Runbooks, pairing and a support taper, with acceptance defined as your engineers running a release while we watch and touch nothing.
03
We will tell you not to build it
Discovery is fixed-price so a 'do not proceed' recommendation costs us nothing to give. It has been the outcome more than once.
04
Small batches, always
Everything ships in pieces small enough to reverse without a meeting. It is why we have never needed a cutover weekend.
Work
Systems we have shipped
Four engagements, each with the number it was measured against.
“Two vendors told us it needed a cutover weekend and we cancelled both projects. BinaryScaler told us it did not, and then proved it every fortnight for eighteen months.”

FAQ
Before you get in touch
With a two-week, fixed-price discovery. You get a scope, a risk register and a costed roadmap, and you are free to take that output to another firm. Several clients have, and a couple came back.
Tell us what is stuck
Thirty minutes with an engineer, not a salesperson. If we are not the right fit we will say so on the call and suggest who might be.
